We are looking forward to our 26th Annual Shamrock Baseball Camp. As head coach of the Dublin Coffman Varsity Team for the past 29 years, I always enjoy our summer camp. The opportunity to teach each of you the skills needed to someday become a high school player are crucial at the younger ages. We always get in a lot of great fun and instruction.
Our camp is designed for each child to become familiar with the proper techniques used with each part of the game. Practice and repetitions will aid in the quick improvement of each player.
The camp staff is made up of the Coffman coaches as well as other qualified high school and summer coaches from throughout the area. Our own high school players assist in teaching and helping as well.
If you want to learn the game of baseball, meet new people and have lots of fun, then the Shamrock Baseball Camp is for you.

FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS TAUGHT
Each camper will be grouped by age. He/she will be worked with on an individual basis and will be instructed and drilled on the fundamentals needed to become a complete player. Among the skills and fundamentals emphasized are:
|OUTFIELD PLAY||DOUBLE PLAY||INFIELD|
Each camper should bring his/her lunch in a cooler or lunch bag. It will be stored at the concession stand until lunch break at 11:30 a.m. The concession stand will be open for snacks, candy and canned pop during lunch break and after camp each day.
Campers may deposit money into the Camp Bank at the beginning of camp. He/she may buy snacks or pop from his/her account during lunch each day. This will avoid the loss of money. All accounts will be closed on the last day of camp and any unused money will be returned to the depositor.
Outdoor facilities include the Avery Park Baseball/Softball Complex. All areas will be used for practice stations as well as game sites. In case of inclement weather, camp will be held under the Complex Shelter House where coaches will lecture on various aspects of the game.
WHAT TO BRING
Campers should bring cleats, a glove and hat, workout clothes and a bat. All clothing and equipment must be properly identified.
